Advanced Pelvic Rotation

Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the mat hips width apart. Do a pelvic tilt, then cross your right leg over the left. Drop both legs to the left side, then slide both legs up toward your head as they maintain contact with the ground. Keep both shoulders on the mat and turn your head to the opposite direction. As you return the pegs back to the start position, resume a pelvic tilt.

  • Keep the foot of the bottom leg in contact with the mat throughout the stretch
  • Don’t scoot your hips to the side before dropping the knees over
